The Utah Department of Transportation is an agency of the state government for the U.S. state of Utah. The agency is usually referred to by its initials UDOT (pronounced "you-dot"). UDOT is charged with maintaining the network of state highways in Utah. The agency is headquartered in the Calvin L. Rampton state office complex in Taylorsville. [1]

The current Executive Director is John Njord, his deputy is Carlos Braceras. [2]

Structure

UDOT maintains over 6,000 miles (9,700 km) of highways.[1] While the agency has field offices throughout the state, for organizational purposes they are grouped into 4 regions.[3]
